Field or Button Description
Type dropdown list Click the dropdown arrow to specify either:
• DFT - model based on the density functional theory.
• Classical - model based on the Kelvin equation and thickness
for determining the pore size distribution.
Refer to DFT MODELS, page F-1 for further discussion on
models.
Geometry
dropdown list
Click the dropdown arrow to select the pore shape.
Pressure Range button Refer to BJH Adsorption/Desorption Report Options, page 5-
44.
Models list box Lists the models that meet the criteria specified and which match
the adsorbate and temperature of the sample data. If no models
appear, no models meet the selected criteria. One model must be
selected.

Click to hyperlink to the NLDFT Model Table
on the
Micromeritics web page.
Regularization
dropdown list and text box
Select the extent of smoothing to apply to the data.
If 0.00000 (user) is selected, enter a number in the text box
giving a relative weight for the smoothing during deconvolution.
Larger values produce more smoothing.
