Execution of head cleaning

Basic Operations
When cleaning with “Wiping”

Press the key in the local mode.

Select [wiping] with or keys and press
key.

Select the head and set the execution/non-execution of
cleaning.
(1) Select the head with or keys.
(2) Select execution/non-execution of the head cleaning
with or keys.
• Select execution of the head cleaning for all the heads.
Execute Cleaning : A color of an ink cartridge being set is displayed.
Not Execute Cleaning : “ - ” is displayed

Press the key.

Select the number of time of wiping
(1 to 10 times) with or keys.

Press the key.
• The cleaning will be started.
• When the cleaning is completed, the system is turned to the local mode.

Execute test drawing and check the result of the test drawing.
• Repeat cleaning and test drawing until normal result is obtained.
• If the test drawing results have not been improved despite of the repeated head cleaning, it is necessary
to perform the cleaning of wiper. Please refer to P.4-12 "Cleaning of wiper".
• If the test drawing results have not been improved even after the repeated head cleaning after
performing the cleaning of wiper, please re-fill the ink. ( P.4-26 )
