State of Lamp
Check the state of the ink with the cartridge lamp on the left of the ink slot.
Cartridges that cannot be used (Lights in red)
The cartridge displaying the following errors cannot be used.
Conditions for cartridge switching
The supply cartridge switches in the following conditions.
During drawing, after cleaning, or after filling ink
• When [INK END] appears
• When [InkPack Chk] appears
• When ink is reduced after appearing [INK NEAREND]
When the cartridge is removed or inserted
Lamp Outline
Lights in green Ink remains in the cartridge that is currently in use.
Lights in red
One of the following states; The cartridge is not set / Ink has run out /
Other error has occurred.
Blinks in red Ink remains low in the cartridge that is not currently being used.
Lights in green/red
in turns
Ink remains low in the cartridge that is currently in use.
Off Ink remains in the cartridge that is not currently being used.

About [InkPack Chk]
• [InkPack Chk] message appears when this printer fails ink supply in Ink Near-end condition. In this
case, follow the procedures below. The cartridges cannot be used until followings are executed.
(1) Check the ink pack contains ink.
(2) If there is ink in the pack, shake the cartridge. ( P.4-6)
(3) Reinsert the cartridge.
(4) Press the key.
• A cartridge to be used is determined comparing those conditions in the following order.
(1) A cartridge with an older expire date
(2) A cartridge with less ink
• If there is "a cartridge in which ink is consumed 30 cc or more after INK NEAREND" when switching
during drawing, a cartridge with more ink is selected.
