Ink cartridge
16 ink cartridges are mounted on this printer in all by mounting two cartridges per one supply system (two nozzle
rows) each.
Set only one supply cartridge per one supply system. The cartridges are alternately used by toggle mechanism.
Replacing with a new ink pack
When the remaining amount of ink becomes less or none, the display and the cartridge lamp located on the left
side of the ink slot inform you of it. At this time, replace the ink pack inside the ink cartridge.
Replacement of ink packs
When replacing an ink pack, set the ink pack weight plate together. If you set the ink pack weight plate, you can
use ink inside the ink pack to the end.

Remove an ink cartridge to be replaced.

Referring to the label attaching to the cartridge, remove the used ink pack.

Set a new ink pack.
• Referring to the label attaching to inside the cartridge top lid,
set it.

Remaining amount of ink in an ink cartridge is few.
• Drawing can be continued, but running out of ink may occur during the
drawing. Earlier replacement is recommended.
[INK END] Lights in red
Ink in an ink cartridge is run out.
• Replace with new one immediately.
• When replacing an ink pack, do not drop the ink pack weight plate. If it drops and hits on your body, it
may cause injury.
• Do not discard the used ink pack weight plate. You can use it repeatedly when replacing ink pack.
