Note when drawing on thick media
When you draw on the thick media, UV light irradiated from the Post Cure Unit may leak and it may have a
damaging effect on your body or the machine.
When you draw on the thick media, attach the provided UV shade curtain on the Post Cure Unit.
Attach the UV shade curtain

Check that the power supply for the Post
Cure Unit located on the Y bar is turned
off.

Adjust the height of the Post Cure Unit depending on the media. ( P.3-19)

Attach the UV shade curtain.
• Using the magnets provided with the UV shade curtain, attach them inside and outside the Post Cure Unit.
• When you attach the UV shade curtain inside the Post Cure Unit, open the open/ close door of the Y bar
front surface.
• For this machine, four UV shade curtains are provided as attachment. Attach the UV shade curtain
depending on the media width.
