Media Storage Update
When exam of DICOM media storage changes (image or information is changed), the
system supports to update the saved DICOMDIR file. Enter iStation screen, and perform
media storage sending again, then the data will be updated.
B.5 Structured Report (SR)
The system supports DICOM OB/ GYN structured report, Cardiac structured report and
Vascular structured report, and for OB, GYN, Vascular and Cardiac exams, structured
report functions are contained in DICOM storage, DICOM storage commitment and
DICOM media storage.
Structured report is sent along with exam, and cannot be sent independently.
Storage and storage commitment of structured report
1. Enter [Setup]→[Network Preset]→[DICOM Service Setting].
2. Select [Storage], and perform storage setting (for details, please refer to “B1.4.1
Storage Setting”), check

3. After finish the settings above, the structured report will be sent when sending
DICOM storage.
4. After successful storage of both image and structured report, you can see the storage
commitment mark “√” in the list below
in the iStation screen.
Back up structured report (SR)
When record or store the exam that has a structured report to the external media
(DICOMDIR), the structured report can be backed up together.
B.6 Showcase Recording
Showcase software can be employed for DICOM image file viewing.
When record DICOM files (both files backed up as DICOMDIR format and files
transformed into DICOM files by clicking [Send To]) and structured reports, the Showcase
can be recorded to the CDs together.
If you send file to optical disk (in DCM format), Showcase software is burned into the
disk automatically.
After you check “DICOM format” when burning file to disk, the system prompts
“Attach DICOM Viewer” check box, and after you check this, Showcase software is
burned to optical disk.
