1. Clean the Comb Electrode using the Corona Unit
Cleaning Lever.
1. Clean the Image Transfer Corona Wire using the
Corona Wire Cleaning Lever.
1. Remove the four Paper Guides.
2. Remove the two End Caps.
3. Remove the Image Transfer and Paper Separator
Corona Wires.
(3) Cleaning of the Comb Electrode
(4) Cleaning of the Image Transfer/Paper Separator Coronas Wires
2. Remove the four Paper Guides.
3. Dampen a soft cloth with alcohol, hold it with a pair of
tweezers, and wipe the Paper Separator Corona Wire
gently in one direction.
(Go from the hook to spring end.)
(5) Cleaning of the Image Transfer/Paper Separator Coronas Housing
When removing the Wire, unhook the spring end first
and use care to prevent break and deformation.
Keep the Corona Wire Cleaning Lever (for the Image
Transfer Corona) pressed all the way back in. Do not
attempt to remove the Lower Pre-Image Transfer
Guide Plate as it has been adjusted for correct height.
NOTE
4. Using a soft cloth dampened with alcohol, wipe the
Housing clean of dirt.
