Remark
Whenever the Scanner Drive Cable has been rewound, be sure to make the "Adjustment of the
Scanner/Mirrors Carriage Position." See p. D-64.
1. Fit the Pulley to the Scanner Drive Gear using two
screws.
2. Wind the shorter length of the Cable 4-1/4 turns
clockwise around the Pulley, working from the back to
front side.
3. Wind the longer length of the Cable 3-1/2 turns
counterclockwise around the Pulley, working from the
front to back side. Then, slip the Cable Holding Jig
onto the Pulley.
