This copier is equipped with two main drive motors, PC Drive Motor M1 that
drives the upper half of the copier (Imaging Unit) and Main Drive Motor M2
which gives drive for the lower half of the copier (paper take-up/feeding and
transport mechanism and Fusing Unit). Each has its own drive transmitting
gears and timing belts as illustrated below.
