Toner Empty Detection
The copier has no toner empty detecting sensor and, instead, the ATDC
Sensor performs that function.
The ATDC Sensor checks the toner-to-carrier ratio and, if it reads a T/C ratio
lower than the setting 37 copies and, further, if it next reads a ratio 1% lower
than the setting, this is a toner-empty condition. The toner-empty condition is
canceled after detection under any of the following conditions:
•
The set T/C ratio has been recovered.
•
After the Front Door has been swung open and closed.
