4.11 Mixed Operation Cycle Function
The mixed operation cycle function executes the Motion operation processing of servo amplifier axes and command
generation axes by setting the low speed operation cycle magnification setting and dividing the processes into 2 tasks, the
operation cycle, and a slower low speed operation cycle.
For system configurations where the operation cycle setting becomes slower, operating only the specified the axes at the
faster operation cycle maintains the operating cycle of axes that require high responsiveness.
Setting the low speed operation cycle
■Low speed operation cycle magnification setting
To use the low speed operation cycle, set the magnification (2 times/4 times/8 times) of the operation cycle for the low speed
operation cycle in the low speed operation cycle magnification setting. (Page 62 Low speed operation cycle magnification

When the operation cycle setting is set to "Default setting", the operation cycle is set as follows according to the number of
servo amplifier axes set in the servo network setting and the low speed operation cycle magnification setting.
When low speed operation cycle magnification setting is set, a moderate error (error code: 30F9H) occurs when the Multiple
CPU power supply is turned ON for the following.
• A SSCNET line exists in the servo network settings.
• The operation cycle is 0.222ms.
• The operation cycle is 0.444ms, and the low speed operation cycle magnification setting is 8 times.
• "Operation cycle low speed operation cycle magnification" exceeds 14.222ms.
• There is no servo amplifier axis or command generation axis that controls at the low speed operation cycle.
• Machine control function is enabled.
