Control details
The internal processes of the Motion CPU are defined by levels of priority. When executing tasks, if the execute conditions of
a high priority task are established, the Motion CPU processes the task of high priority. The low speed operation cycle
processes have a lower priority than operation cycle processes. Therefore they are processed in the standby time after the
completion of the operation cycle.
As an example, the process timing inside the Motion CPU, and the monitor devices for processing times when low speed
operation cycle magnification setting is set to "4 times" are shown below.
Refer to processing time monitor and check for process timing when low speed operation cycle is not set. (Page 370
Processing time monitor and check)
Low speed operation cycle processes are processed in the standby time after the completion of the
operation cycle. Therefore, when operation cycle time is increased, there may not be enough time for
processing the low speed operation cycle processes.
Motion SFC normal task processes, and scan time processes are processed in the standby time after the
completion of the low speed operation cycle. Therefore, when low speed operation cycle is set, the scan
time may increase.
