4SettheAuthenticationServiceseldtoEnabled.Thiseldenableslocalauthenticationservicesandmustbe
enabledasaprerequisiteforcentralizedauthentication.
5SetthePasswordResetMechanismeld.Thiseldallowsausertoresetthepasswordsfortwobuilt-in
deviceaccountstotheirdefaultvalues.
6Toupdatethepasswordforthedevice,selecteitherServiceAccountorElevatedPrivilegefromthedrop-down
listandclickUpdatepassword.

7Entertheoldpassword,thenenteranewpasswordandconrmthenewpasswordbeforeclickingChange

Prerequisites:
Ensuretherequiredcredentialsinformation(localserviceaccountpasswordandelevatedprivilegespassword)to
congurethesitedevicesareavailablebeforeproceeding.Theusercredentialsinformationincludesboththe
currentandnewcredentials.Withoutthecurrentcredentials,youcannotaccessthedeviceandcannotchangethe
usercredentials.ToobtainthekeysforresettingeitherpasswordorSNMPv3passphrasesforthedevice,contact
MotorolaSolutionsCustomerSupport.Changingtotheincorrectusercredentialsmayleadtonotbeingableto
accessthedevicethroughCSSorSSH.
