2SelectService→AlignmentScreensfromthemenu.
3Placethebaseradiointoservicemode:
a.Ifthebaseradioisnotalreadyinservicemode,clickChangetoServiceMode.
Stepresult:Aconrmationdialogboxappears.
b.ClickOK.
Stepresult:Thebaseradiobeginsaresetsequencetochangemodes,whichtakesafewminutes.
c.Afterthebaseradioresets,re-opentheAlignmentScreenasdescribedinstep2.
4SelecttheCarrierSquelchAlignmenttab.
5Makethefollowingconnectionstothebaseradio:
a.DisconnecttheBNCantennacableorNconnectorifapreselectorispresentfromtheReceiveAntennaPort.
b.ConnecttheservicemonitorGENporttothebaseradiosAntennaPortwithaBNCconnector.
6Setuptheservicemonitor.
a.For25kHzchannels,setthemodulationto1kHztoneat3kHzdeviation.
b.For12.5kHzchannels,setthemodulationto1kHztoneat1.5kHzdeviation.
c.Settheservicemonitortogenerateatthereceivefrequency.
d.SettheRFlevelaninitialvalueof–80dBm.
