frequencybands.
TCXO(TemperatureCompensatedCrystalOscillator)operatesat1.5ppm,ofwhich0.5ppmis
allocatedtotemperatureand1.0ppmisallocatedtoaging.ReferenceprecisionwiththeTCXOis
tradedforlowerpowerconsumption.TheTCXOmandatesshortermaintenanceintervals.TheTCXO
transceiveroptioncardisavailableinUHFR1/R2frequencybands.TheTXCOisonlyavailablefor
non-simulcastconventionalsystems.

ThemainoperatingsoftwareforthebaseradioisloadedintheXCVRscontrolsection.Asthemainmanagerfor
thebaseradio,theXCVRcontrolboardprovidesoperationalcontrolovertheotherstationmodules.Ithandles
threetypesofinformationow,inthefollowingways:
ServesasagatewaybetweenthenetworkandRFfunctionality,bydistributingtheRFpayloadtoand
fromthenetwork.
Supportsoperationalanddiagnosticfunctionswithdigitalcontroldata(forexample:siteinformation,
channelassignments,andidenticationnumbersforcallprocessing).
