3.2.1DCMainsGroundingConnections
ThisequipmentisdesignedtopermittheconnectionoftheearthedconductoroftheDCsupply
circuittotheearthingconductorattheequipment.Ifthisconnectionismade,allofthefollowing
conditionsmustbemet:
•ThisequipmentmustbeconnecteddirectlytotheDCsupplysystemearthingelectrodeconductorortoa
bondingjumperfromanearthingterminalbarorbusinwhichtheDCsupplysystemearthingelectrode
conductorisconnected.
•Thisequipmentmustbelocatedinthesameimmediatearea(suchasadjacentcabinets)asanyother
equipmentthathasaconnectionbetweentheearthedconductorofthesameDCsupplycircuitandtheearthing
conductor,(andalsothepointofearthingoftheDCsystem).TheDCsystemmustnotbeearthedelsewhere.
•TheDCsupplysourceistobelocatedwithinthesamepremisesastheequipment.
•SwitchingordisconnectingdevicesmustnotbeintheearthedcircuitconductorbetweentheDCsourceand
thepointofconnectionoftheearthingelectrodeconductor.
3.2.1.1DisconnectDevice–PermanentlyConnected
Areadilyaccessibledisconnectdevice(circuitbreakerorswitch)mustbeincorporatedinthebuildinginstallation
wiring.
3.2.1.2MultiplePowerSource
Thisproducthasmultiplepowersources.Ifservicerequirestheremovalofapowersource,disconnectallinputs
(ACandDCpowers)toremovepowercompletelytotheequipmentbeforeservicing.
