TheoptionalVHForUHFpreselectorassemblyismountedonthebackofabaseradioorbasereceiver.The
preselectorassemblyisa3-pole(UHF)ora5-pole(VHF)bandpasslterequippedwithtuningslugstoadjustthe
passbandcorrespondingtotheoperatingfrequency(s)ofthebaseradio.Thepreselectorassemblymustbeeld
tunedifreplacedintheeldorifthebaseradiooperatingfrequency(s)aremodied.
TuningforbestSINADorBERresponseDOESNOTresultinoptimumtuningofthepreselectorassembly.
Youmustusethiseldtuningproceduretoobtainoptimumpreselectorperformance.
