onhowtodisableandenableMACportlocking.
Followingthedevicerestoration,ifitwasconnectedtoanHPswitchport,theHPswitchportmayhave
beendisabledduetoanunexpectedMACaddress.Ifso,re-enabletheportontheHPswitch.

9.3ReplacingtheFanAssembly
Topreventoverheating,thisfanmustbeinplaceatalltimes,exceptduringservicing.
Thefanassemblyisdesignedtobeswappedoutwithoutshuttingthepoweroff.Thereplacementfan
assemblymustbeinplacewithinareasonableamountoftime,sothatthedevicemoduledoesnotoverheat
andshutdown.
Whenremovingafanmodulecareshouldbetakentoavoidcontactingmovingfanbladesbeforeand
afterremovalwithtools,hands,orotherobjects.Ifyouareremovingthefanmoduletoaccessor
replacethemodulesbehindit,itisrecommendedthatyouturnofftheequipmentpowerandallow
themodulestocoolbeforeperforminganyworkasthesurfacesofthemodulescanbeextremelyhot.
