handling,areperformedthroughthetransceivermodule.On-boardserialandEthernetserviceportsarelocatedon
thismoduleforlocalservicingthroughCSS.Thepowersupplymodulesupportsthetransceivermodule.Radio
FrequencyDistributionSystem(RFDS)providestheinterfacebetweenthereceiverandthesiteantennas.

environmentwithconnectiontoaconsole.

PowerAmplier(PA)*Acceptsalow-levelmodulatedRFsignalfromthe
transceivermoduleandampliesitfortransmission
throughthesitetransmitantenna.Alsoprovides
alow-levelRFfeedbacksignaltothetransceiver
moduletoachievetherequiredtransmitterlinearity.
Alsoperformsfunctionsrelatedtothefanmodule.
Transceiver(XCVR)Providesthecontrol,exciter,andreceiverfunctions
forthebaseradio.
Theexciterfunctionalityisturnedoffinthe
GPW8000Receiver.
