Forced Initialization

If the Status LED remains flashing and the scanner is unable to read barcodes, use this recovery
method. This typically occurs if you accidently scan USB interface change while using an RS-232C
cable
Force initialization
- Power off the scanner (remove the power).
- Press and hold the trigger key
- Power on the scanner while pressing the trigger. (Keep pressing trigger.)
- While the Status LED is flashing, hold trigger key for 10 seconds.
- The recovery signal will sound and the status LED should stop flashing.
- Trigger key should now be operational and the scanner should be able to read barcodes.
* During forced initialization, read data will not be output to the host device.
