Step 2: Use the [ , ] keys to highlight the Reset tab.
Step 3: Use the [ ] key to highlight Measurement Reset and press
[ENTER].
Step 4: Use the [ , ] keys to highlight Reset or Cancel and
press [ENTER].
Step 5: Press [MEAS] to return to the Measure Mode.
4.10.2 Master Reset
Master Reset resets the entire instrument to it’s default values and also
deletes the database on the MG2-DL.
Note: Caution should be used when performing a Master
Reset because it will cause the gage to delete all stored
thickness readings. Once a master reset has been per-
formed, the thickness data cannot be retrieved.
To perform Master Resets:
Step 1: Press [2ndF][ ](Setup) to display the setup tabs.
Step 2: Use the [ , ] keys to highlight the Reset tab.
Step 3: Use the [ ] key to highlight Master Reset and press
[ENTER].
Step 4: Use the [ , ] keys to highlight Reset or Cancel and
press [ENTER].
