■ Basic Operation
NOTE
∗
While the copier is warming up, you may position your original on the copier, enter
your copy job selections and press the Print key. The wait indicator will flash until the
warm up cycle is completed and the copy job automatically start.
C When making 100 copies continuously or intermittently within 20 minutes, the fan
motor will start rotation. This is not irregular operation but just to cool off the machine.
C For FP-D455/D605, at following condition Touch Panel Display may light but it will turn
off within 40 seconds.
1. After turning off the Power switch.
2. After connecting the power code to the plug.

C Place face down on platen and in ADF (FA-A355).
Face Up in i-ADF (FA-A888).
C If the original is incorrectly placed on the platen glass,
part of the copy image may be missing.
C For originals smaller than A5 size, align with center of
left original guide and select A5.

■ Memory capacity:
When the memory becomes full during the original scanning, the message of “Function not
available for lack of memory” will be displayed in the message display. In this case, follow the
operating instruction in the message display.
When the additional memory is required, consult with authorised dealer.

■ Note on making multiple copies (For FP-D455/D605)
If the fusing temperature drops excessively during a multi-copy cycle, there is a possibility that
the copying speed will be reduced. The copying speed will automatically return to normal when
the fusing temperature rises enough to ensure good fusing performance.
