5. Select Automatic reset = Activated for this safety laser scanner. An automatic reset
occurs if an error state is detected.
6. Click on the arrow . The next window Configure zone sets is opened.
7. Select Zone set = 3. Enter the input delay.
The pins are automatically assigned to the zone sets by PSENscan Configurator. The
assignment can be changed manually.
Note when mapping manually: Zone sets where a 0 or 1 is entered for all the zone
switching, are not permitted.
Automatic coding using PSENscan Configurator
Click for automatic coding of zone sets
Click on the arrow . The next window Input configuration is opened.
8. In the first safety zone, select the value Manual for Restart and assign a pin to the
manual restart.
In the second safety zone, select the value Automatic for Restart and define the re-
start delay time (min. 80 ms).
For both safety zones, select whether EDM is to be activated. If EDM is activated, a pin
must be assigned to the EDM input.
If more than one OSSD pair is configured, the settings must be selected for each OSSD
pair.
9. Click on the arrow . The next window Configure detection capability is opened.
10. Under Coding: against interference, select the code that is to be assigned to this
safety laser scanner.
The response time of the safety laser scanner is increased in relation to the relevant In-
creased response time per measurement cycle [ 26] and is shown with the new
value.
