8. Install the retaining ring (F) into the output cover. Be
sure the retaining ring is properly seated into the
cover.
9. Install H-springs and bearing rollers into bearing
cage. Lower bearing assembly into ring gear.
10. Install the ring gear shim into gearcase by fitting ears
(G) into gearcase slots (H).
11. Holding the bearing assembly in place, lower the ring
gear assembly into position until fully seated.
NOTE
Be sure armature plate tabs are placed into the slots on
roll cage.
This photo is for reference only, the armature plate is
actually installed in the output cover.
