12.1 HW Changes
In November 2011, a new designed Electronic box
for the Preproofer has been released. The new box
is recognized by the three RJ11 connectors on the
opposite side of the power connector.
Beside internal hardware changes, the electronic
allows to control the cutter system on the Epson
printer through the cut motor encoder. Therefore it’s
no longer necessary to setup the two parameters
“Cut Left” and “Cut Right”.
12.2 Power Supply Setup for Electronic Box
Setup the power supply for the electronic box:
Voltage 24V
When upgrading a Preproofer system which
was installed with the previous Electronic
Box version, leave the voltage on the power
supply on 23V.
