Connection Problems
Cables
If the installation of the cables and components are correctly installed, but they don't function properly,
or at all, some of the possible reason could be:
• A connector is dirty or corroded
• A connector is loose or damaged
• A cable looks OK outside but has an open circuit inside
• The wrong cable was used. Look for the Thunderbolt logo on the cable. See the Note below
Be sure to use approved cables because:
• They are the proper ones for your system.
• They are sold in brand-new condition.
