Mounting the Field Computer
Refer to the following sections for detailed instructions on mounting the Viper Pro field computer and Switch
Box and connecting the required cables.
Mounting the Switch Box
Note:
The following instructions illustrate mounting the switch box below the Viper Pro field computer.
The mounting bracket (P/N 107-0171-847) also may be used to mount the switch box above the
computer. Before tightening the mounting bracket, verify the bracket is in the desired orientation
and ensure the field computer and switch box will be clear of any moving elements within the
machine cab.
To assemble the mounting bracket:
1. First, mount two of the provided clamps to the mounting bracket using four flat head phillips screws.
Attach the clamp to the mounting bracket so that the recessed mounting holes and the clamp are on the
same side.
2. Match up mounting posts on the back of the Viper Pro field computer with the recessed holes in the
mounting bracket.
When assembled, the smaller flange of the mounting bracket should be centered with the console and
slightly behind the upper flange.
