Initial Set Up and Navigation
3. Toggle the master switch on.
4. Use the INC/DEC switch to adjust the roller speed while priming the roller. Be sure that the product being
calibrated is selected before toggling the INC/DEC switch in the application control screen.
5. When the roller is primed, toggle the master switch off.
6. Empty the weight box and proceed to the Catch Test and Cal Weight Calculation section below to calibrate
product 1. To prime remaining product nodes or control channels, toggle the product 1 switch to off, toggle
the desired product switch to manual and repeat the above process.
Catch Test and Cal Weight Calculation
1. Set the switch box as follows:
a. Toggle one section assigned to the product being calibrated to the on position.
b. Toggle the remaining section switches to the off position.
c. Master switch off.
d. Product 1-5 switches off.
2. Touch within the Product Control area at the bottom of the main screen.
3. Make sure that Node 1 is selected on the CAN Controller Status screen and touch within the second data
display area, or the Product Control Settings area, on the CAN Controller Status screen.
4. Touch the Calibration Assistance button below the cal weight value. The Cal Weight Calibration screen
will display.
Note: The application type must be set for Gran 4 in order to use the cal weight calibration assistance
feature. See the Application and Control Valve Type(s) section on page 40 for more information on
selecting the application type.
5. Verify that the weight box is in place and that no product will be spilled on the ground.
Note: Make sure the metering roller is full of product before touching Begin Calibration. If the roller is
not full, the test results will be inaccurate. Perform the Priming the Metering Rollers section on
page 48 to ensure the rollers are properly primed.
6. Touch the Begin Calibration button.
7. Toggle the product 1 switch to manual.
8. Toggle the master switch on.
9. Dispense product until a sufficient weight of product is in the weight box or the weight box is full.
10. Toggle the master switch off.
11. Touch the End Calibration button.

The metering rollers will begin turning during
