Troubleshooting
An error indication does not disappear
even though consumables (ink, master
roll) are set.
The consumables (ink, master roll) may
not be correctly set.
After inserting the ink cartridge, turn it
clockwise ( ) to lock. Or set the ink
cartridge again.

Set a Master Core so that the mark
comes to the left, and then set the
Master-Making Unit.

The ink cartridge may not contain ink
information.
Do not remove the label attached on
the ink cartridge outlet section.
If you have removed the label, set a
new ink cartridge. p.107
A portion on copies is missing. A foreign object may exist on the
master.
Pull out the Print Drum, and if a foreign
object exists on the master, remove it.
If a foreign object exists between the
master and the drum, remove the
master to remove the foreign object.
Then set the drum and perform the
master-making operation again.

The size of the paper placed on the
Paper Feed Tray may not be same as
the size of the original at the time of the
master-making process.
Set the paper that is the same size as
the original on the Paper Feed Tray,
and then perform the master-making
operation.
The data size of the original data may
exceed the print area.
The maximum original data for master-
making is 596 mm x 425 mm. Images
outside of this print area will not be
included in the master-making. Check
the print area.

Vertical blank lines are found on printed
copies
The Thermal Print Head may be dirty. Wipe the Thermal Print Head lightly
with a soft cloth.

The edges of printed copies are
smudged with ink.
When printing on a thick printing paper,
the corner of the paper may touch and
damage the master.
Perform the master-making process
again.
Or pull out the drum, and then attach
tape on the damaged section of the
master.
When a tape is attached to the master,
the master may not be sent to the
Master Disposal Box properly.
