any from the "Hostname Whitelist" , the web filter triggers a »Reject« action. If a warn-
ing page has been configured, the user is directed to it.

Web Filter Profiles Overview
Navigate to "UTM > Web Filter Profiles" to display the list of web filter profiles that are
currently defined on the system in the item list bar.
In the expanded view, the columns of the table display the "Name" of the web filter pro-
file, the number of "Categories" and the "Type" of approach (Blacklist or
Whitelist) selected and the "URLs" which were added to the hostname list of the
same type of approach. The buttons in the last column allow you to view and adjust the
settings for an existing web filter profile, create a new profile based on a copy of an
existing web filter profile or delete a profile from the system.

Web Filter Profiles Settings
The "Web Filter Profiles" settings allow you to determine which websites are available
to computers on the protected network.
Under "UTM > Web Filter Profiles" , you can add a new or edit an existing web filter
profile.
The "Web Filter Profile" settings allow you to configure the following elements:
On the "General" tab:
Field Description
"Name" Enter a name for the web filter profile.
"Type" Select the approach (Whitelist or Blacklist) to be used to determine
which websites are available to computers on the protected network.
On the "Categories" tab:
Use the options on this tab to determine which websites should be available to users
on the network and which should be blocked. Click the
next to a category to display
its available subcategories. Choose entire categories or single subcategories by select-
ing the appropriate checkboxes. Clear the checkbox next to a category or a subcate-
gory to remove it from the black- or whitelist. To hide the subcategories, click the
button next to the category.
