Important: If Warn is selected and the user overrides the warning page, no
other firewall rule is evaluated and the traffic for this flow is allowed.
Important: The warning page appears only if the "Enable DNS Cache" check-
box in the corresponding zone is selected. For more information, see Chap-
ter 3.4.3, "LAN", on page 68.

be used in the Alert log message when a web filter alert is triggered by a fire-
wall rule.
The gateprotect Firewall host name must include a suffix if you intend to set up the
warning page. For more information, see "Settings" on page 45.
On the "Exception Lists" tab:
There are two possibilities to add URLs in the form of fully qualified domain names to
either the "Hostname Blacklist" or the "Hostname Whitelist" :
●
To add a fully qualified domain name manually, enter the fully qualified domain
name in the input field under the appropriate approach and click "Add" .
●
To import URL expressions from a text file, click " Import" on the right under the
appropriate approach and open the file.
Important: The default maximum file size for imports is one megabyte. Each non-
empty line of the selected text file adds an entry to the appropriate list. Therefore,
the individual expressions have to be in separate lines and must not be separated
by commas, and so forth.
You can edit or delete each single entry in the lists by clicking the appropriate button
next to an entry. For further information, see Chapter 3.2, "Icons and Buttons",
on page 21.
Entries can be moved from one list to the other by dragging & dropping them.
To download a list of hostnames as a text file to the local disk, click " Export" on the
right under the appropriate approach.
