3. Select the custom host node of the domain controller.
The "Firewall Rules" panel for this connection opens.

Click the plus button to set up a firewall rule for this connection.
The editor panel for firewall rules opens. Configure the following minimal set of five
firewall rules to allow traffic to pass between the Windows client and the domain
controller.
5. For the first rule configure the following settings:
a) "Name" : [Rule 1]
b) "Policy" : Allow
c) "Source(s)" : [Client Zone]
d) "Destination(s)" : [Domain Controller]
e) "Applications / Protocols" : DNS
6. Click "Create" to add the rule to the list of available firewall rules for this connec-
tion.
The editor panel for firewall rules disappears automatically. The new firewall rule is
displayed in the "Firewall Rules" panel.

Click the plus button
to set up an additional firewall rule for this connection.
8. For the second rule configure the following settings:
a) "Name" : [Rule 2]
b) "Policy" : Allow
c) "Source(s)" : [Client Zone]
d) "Destination(s)" : [Domain Controller]
e) "Destination Port" : 88
9. Click "Create" to add the rule to the list of available firewall rules for this connec-
tion.
The editor panel for firewall rules disappears automatically. The new firewall rule is
displayed in the "Firewall Rules" panel.

to set up an additional firewall rule for this connection.
11. For the third rule configure the following settings:
a) "Name" : [Rule 3]
b) "Policy" : Allow
c) "Source(s)" : [Client Zone]
d) "Destination(s)" : [Domain Controller]
e) "Destination Port" : 135
12. Click "Create" to add the rule to the list of available firewall rules for this connec-
tion.
The editor panel for firewall rules disappears automatically. The new firewall rule is
displayed in the "Firewall Rules" panel.
