SIEMENS provides the following function blocks for using PROFIenergy, for example:
• PE_START_END (FB 815)

8.2 NTP (time synchronization)
Requirements
• 3RW5 PROFINET High Feature communication module

Time synchronization according to the NTP procedure
The 3RW55 and 3RW55 Failsafe soft starters have a capacitor-buered real-time clock with an
operation reserve of about 3 days. You can synchronize the real-time clock using the NTP
procedure via the 3RW5 PROFINET High Feature communication module.
