Class
The Class (trip class) defines the maximum time within which SIMOCODE pro must trip from
cold at 7.2 times the current setting I
s
(motor protection to IEC 60947). SIMOCODE pro
meets the requirements of tolerance band E according to IEC / EN 60947-4-1 in respect of
the accuracy of the tripping times. Please note that with startups > "Class 10", the
permissible AC3 current of the contactor may have to be reduced (derated), i.e. you must
select a larger contactor.
