1 - 14 Prerequisites
SIREPHOS cover 1
• Loosen the 4 cover screws of the surrounding C-arm housing.
• Use a sharp knife to cut open the sealing compound all the way around the cover.
• Lift off the C-arm cover. The 3 cover screws of the SIREPHOS cover are now accessible.
• Remove the sealing compound residue from the C-arm cover, the SIREPHOS cover and
the C-arm.
• Loosen the 3 cover screws of the SIREPHOS cover.
• Lift off the cover.
• On completing service, place the SIREPHOS cover on the SIREPHOS.
• Refasten the SIREPHOS cover with the 3 cover screws.
• Re-attach the C-arm cover and seal it all around with sealing compound.
• Use a paper towel to wipe off excess sealing compound.
• Refasten the C-arm cover with the 4 cover screws.
The SIREPHOS is surrounded by a C-arm cover to adapt it to the
form of the C-arm. This cover is sealed all around with a sealing
compound (20 49 716) to prevent any contamination of the unit by
the SIREPHOS or the C-arm.
