Configuring LPCT connected directly to conductors
I1–I3
1. Open ION Setup > select the meter > Setup Assistant.
2. Click Metering Setup > Basic tab.
3. Set the LPCT CT primary value:
a. Select PM1 CT Prim > Edit. The LVCS Configuration Setup dialog box opens.
b. Enter the LPCT primary value.
c. Click OK.
4. Set the LPCT CT secondary value:
a. Select PM1 CT Sec > Edit. The LVCS Configuration Setup dialog box opens.
b. Enter the LPCT secondary value.
c. Click OK.
The CT Prim and CT Sec values are stored to the device register.

Configure these settings in Metering Setup > Advanced tab.
Configuration scenario 2: LPCT connected to secondary side of conventional CT
The LPCT is connected to the secondary side of a conventional transformer.
CT1 (L1) transformation ratio 500A:5A
LPCT transformation ratio 10A:1V
Meter transformation ratio (default) 1A:1V
Example:
The total transformation ratio is the product of all component transformation ratios. Set the meter
CT ratio to match the total transformation ratio and measure the primary current at CT1.
CT ratio:
= CT1 ratio x LPCT ratio x Meter ratio
