Figure 7-4 Network Page: General NTP
The Network Time Protocol (NTP) is a protocol for synchronizing the clocks of network
elements over packet-switched, variable-latency data networks.
NTP provides a connectionless service (UDP in the Transport Layer).
The EtherHaul has an embedded NTP client. It can synchronize the host clock to any NTP
server in the LAN/Internet to deliver accurate and reliable time.
Primary and secondary servers can be defined.
This section allows configuring the following parameters:
Server IP primary NTP server IP Address
Secondary Server IP secondary NTP server IP Address
TMZ time zone shift in hours (-12 to 14). Note that changing the TMZ value will
change the time entered.
