Cleaning the transducer
The transducer normally needs little attention. However, the
transducer face should be inspected and cleaned when docking.
Do not use strong solvents, but a normal synthetic soap and water.
Marine growth should be carefully removed with fine-grade
sandpaper or emery paper.
Note ! The transducer face must not be painted.
Lubrication of the Hull Unit
From the factory, the Hull Unit is lubricated with the types of oil
or grease as specified below. However, if of equal quality, other
types may be utilized. The following refer to the lubrication
points.
Figure 157 - The Hull Unit
1 The ball bearing on the top of the hoist/lower screw should
be lubricated with normal ball bearing grease.
