Stop procedure
1 Press the Up button for hoisting the transducer to the upper
position. The green LED beside the button will start
blinking, and an audible signal indicates the hoisting of the
transducer. When upper position is reached, the LED will
illuminates continuously, the audible signal stop, and the
upper button in the Status menu shows: Transducer UP.
2 Press the POWER button approximately two seconds for
switching off the sonar. Check that the green LED beside the
On/off button extinguish.
3 Switch of the display monitor by pressing the POWER
button on the monitor.
WARNING ! If the sonar is switched OFF due to, for example, power
failure, with the transducer lowered, the transducer
must be raised by using the hoisting/lowering switch in
the motor control unit, or by the hand crank (refer to
section ”Maintenance”).
Dry--docking
To prevent inadvertent use of the sonar when dry-docking etc.,
set the switch S102 at the rear of the Sonar Processor Unit to the
OFF position. This is because the transducer can be damaged by
transmitting in air.
