When the 180° / Echosounder mode is selected, the upper half of
the screen shows a 180° bow up presentation, while the lower part
is used for an echo sounder recording. That means that the sonar
acts alternately as a normal sonar and an echo sounder for each
second transmission.
When selecting this mode, the lower half of the screen will be
dark. A recording will then be built up from right to left on the
screen, and store the echogram.
All the echosounder settings are sellected separately in the
Echosounder index menu.
