Section 5 – Procedures Display Module
Code Description Cause Troubleshooting
175-M2 ERR SPEED FB.ERR. XY
An issue with the speed or position
feedback sensor is detected. The
hexadecimal value "XY" helps to identify
the nature of the problem: the rst digit
"X" encodes the type of feedback sensor,
the second digit "Y"encodes the type of
issue.
X (sensor): 0 Encoder, 1 Sin/cos, 3
Encoder + index, 5 Resolver, 6 3- all, 7
PWM
Y (issue): 1 Generic error 1, 2 Generic
error 2, 3 Generic error 3, 4 Generic
error 4, 5 Signals off, 6 Swapped signals,
7 Shorted signals or one is absent, 8
Signal amplitude, 9 Signal amplitude
(supervisor µC).
A too large speed step, B SSL
(sensorless speed loop), C Signals are
ltered out, D-F Free.
Check the motor harness and motor
to see if the speed feedback sensor
may be faulty. If so, replace the
controller.
177-BRK1 ERR COIL SHOR. EB.
This alarms occur when there is an
overload on the MC driver (pin A27) or
on the right EB driver (pin A28). As soon
as the overload condition disappears,
the alarm will be removed automatically
by releasing and then enabling a travel
demand.
The typical root cause is in the brake
wiring harness or in the load coil.
178-M2 TEMP
MOTOR TEMP.
STOP
The motor temperature has reached or
exceeded the value set by the parameter
MOTOR TEMP STOP.
Check the MOTOR TEMPERATURE
reading by the TESTER function.
If the sensed temperature is real,
consider to improve the cooling of
the motor or to increase the MOTOR
TEMP STOP setting.
If the warning is present when the
motor is cool, check the sensor
ohmic value and the sensor wiring.
If no issue is found at the sensor
level, it is necessary to replace the
controller.
180-M2 ERR OVERLOAD
The motor current has exceeded the limit
xed by hardware.
Restart the machine. If the code is
still present without driving, replace
the controller.
181-M2 ERR WRONG ENC SET
Mismatch between parameters
ENCODER PULSES 1 and ENCODER
PULSES 2 (master section) or between S
ENC. PULSES 1 and S ENC. PULSES 2
(slave section).
Check the motor harness and motor
to see if the speed feedback sensor
may be faulty. If so, replace the
controller.
