SJ12 E, SJ16 E, SJ20 E

Section 5 – Procedures Platform
Install masts 2 and 3 (SJ12 E) or 2, 3 and 4
(SJ16/20 E) and the bottom wear pads
1. Lubricate the four wear pads and the four corners
all the way down mast 3 (SJ12 E) or 4 (SJ16/20
E).
2. Use lifting straps to put mast 3 (SJ12 E) or
4 (SJ16/20 E) over mast 4 (SJ12 E) or 5
(SJ16/20 E). Make sure the emergency lowering
valve cutout in the mast faces the rear of the
machine.
3. Keep the mast partially raised so the bottom of
the mast is visible.
4. Use new thread rolling screws (10-32 x 3/8”)to
attach two new thin and short wear pads (157763)
to the rear of the mast on the inside.
5. Use new pop rivets to attach two new thick and
long wear pads (159399) to the front of the mast
on the inside.
