If you connect equipment not approved
by smart to the diagnostics connection
in the vehicle, it may affect the opera-
tion of vehicle systems. As a result, the
operating safety of the vehicle could be
affected.
► Only connect the vehicle's diagnos-
tics connection to devices which are
approved by smart.
WARNING Risk of accident due to ob-
jects in the driver's footwell
Objects in the driver's footwell may im-
pede pedal travel or block a pressed
pedal.
This jeopardises the operating and road
safety of the vehicle.
► Stow all objects in the vehicle se-
curely so that they cannot get into
the driver's footwell.
► Always fix the floor mats securely in
order to make sure that there is al-
ways sufficient room for the pedals.
► Never use loose floor mats, nor place
a floor mat on another one.

gers. Leave warning stickers in position.
