10.2.12 Angle Correction
ANGLE CORRECT
Angle correction enables the adjustment of the flow direction cursor, which should
be aligned with the vessel axis.
It’s only necessary to use the angle correction when making velocity-related mea-
surements.
To adjust the angle of the flow direction cursor,
• highlight ANGLE CORRECT at the spectral Doppler mode menu.
• Use the RIGHT key to turn on the angle correction.
• Press the MENU key to dismiss the context menu. Use the LEFT/RIGHT keys to
adjust the angle.
10.2.13 Dynamic Range (DYN)
DYN
• highlight DYN at the spectral Doppler menu.
• use the LEFT/RIGHT keys to decrease/increase the value of Dynamic Range.
 Remarks:
Dynamic Range is displayed at the Spectral Doppler Image Info Area on the
screen (DYN).
10.2.14 Chroma
CHROMA
Similar to the chroma setting in the B mode, this function gives the effect of chang-
ing the spectral display color.
The chroma value is adjustable in the real time mode as well as the freeze mode.
• highlight CHROMA in the context menu.
• use the LEFT/RIGHT keys to change the chroma value.
10.2.15 Video Invert
VIDEO INVERT
This function has the effect of changing the background of the spectral display.
Highlight VIDEO INVERT and press the LEFT/RIGHT key to turn Off/On this function.
The background of the spectral display is
• dark, when Video Invert is Off;
• bright, when Video Invert is On.
