3D Mode

The 3D imaging is part of the 4D package which is optional and can be
installed upon the user request.
3D ultrasound allows the user to see width, height and depth of the anatomical
structure. In this case, the echoes are processed by a sophisticated computer
program resulting in a reconstructed three dimensional volume image of internal
organs or fetus.
Since this 3D image is generated after 2D information is collected, it is not real
time. For real time 3D, or 4D, refer to Chapter 12.
