6.6.10.2 Setup of specification parameters of group control service

Click ―Group control service‖ tab, and enter the detailed setup screen for group control
service parameters. Specific parameters and button functions are introduced as follows:
1) Communication Port (Comm. Port): Click pull-down arrow, choose the communication
port matched to PC, e.g., ―COM3‖; right click ―My computer‖ on the desktop of PC, choose
―Properties‖ and then ―device manager‖, view ―port setting‖, but chosen items shall be consistent
with group control board software.
2) Group Split Mode (ReGroup): Select 0~3 only. 0 indicates general group split mode, and
the elevators in group control are split into groups X and Y; the setting of 12

window would be used cooperatively with the ―group split mode. 1 and 2 indicate incomplete split;
for 1 chosen, split only for down call split but not up call split; this is applicable to situation in
which the floors for down elevators in group control are inconsistent; for 2 chosen, split only for
up call but not down call; this is applicable to situation in which the floors for up elevators in
group control are inconsistent; for 3 chosen, both up call and down call adopt incomplete split, i.e.,
combination of 1 and 2 situations, and this is applicable to situation in which the floors for up and
