Chapter 6 Introduction to the supporting products

12) Numbering of Single Elevator: The elevators are numbered as A, B, C, D, E, F, G and
H, and they represent #1-8 elevators in order.
13) Re-Group X/Y: If using the general group split function, it is necessary to choose the
group which every elevator is to be split into: X or Y. In case of partially incomplete split function:
it is necessary to set the elevators with full parkings in group Y, and other elevators in group X.
14) Continuous Operation by Emergency Power Supply(Service in OEPS): When using
the function of continuous operation by emergency power supply, choose which elevators may be
used continuously in the group control system in case of power supply of a generation unit. If ON
is set for the corresponding elevator number, it continues to operate; if OFF is set, the elevator
fails to operate at this point. This setting is active only if the 8
th
item in this window is set valid.
15) Read: Read the parameters set and saved last time in this window from the group control
board.
16) Set: Save the currently set parameters in the group control board in this window. If any
parameter is modified, it is necessary to click this button to transfer and store the new data to the
group control board, and then parameter setup finishes.
17) Reset: Click this button to restore default values of all parameters of the group control
board.
