1. Information on this document
This Technical Manual contains detailed information on installation, configuration of the implemented pro-
grams, and troubleshooting.
The Technical Manual must be kept on site at the location of use and be available at all times.
Make sure that persons responsible for operating and working on the product have fully read and understood
this manual. If you have any questions, please call the hotline.
1.1 Scope
This Technical Manual is intended for the CompTrol InterfaceIIIk board, software version V3.9 and later.
1.2 Target group
This document is intended for qualified electricians and specialist planners. The work described in this doc-
ument may only be performed by persons with the requisite qualifications (see „2.3 Required personnel
qualifications“).
1.3 Presentation conventions
Safety and warning notices are indicated by signal words. The signal words indicate hazard levels with risks of
injury of varying degrees of severity. The signal word NOTICE indicates a risk of property damage.
DANGER
Death or serious injury due to a high-risk hazard
WARNING
Death or serious injury due to a medium-risk hazard
CAUTION
Slight injury due to a low-risk hazard
NOTICE
Damage to property or the environment
NOTE
