6. Program 8 – Direct frequency request
6.1 Description
The compressor frequency of the outdoor air conditioning can be adjusted via the 010VDC signal from an
external controller.
In addition, the digital inputs can be used to switch on Cooling or Heating operating modes, and to adjust the
fan speed.
The automatic forced mode and inversion of digital outputs can also be used as an option. Control damping
can be set additionally as a special function.
The indoor air conditioning unit can be switched on or off using remote ON/OFF.
The operating, compressor, heating, or defrost signals are emitted via the digital outputs. In the event of a sys-
tem fault, an alarm signal is emitted via a digital output.
Direct frequency request is possible with the following unit series from MITSUBISHI Heavy Industries:

Direct frequency request cannot be used with KX and SX series air conditioning units.
