Main Logic Board
This chapter explains how to remove and install a SPARCstation 10 system main
logic board (MLB) and its main components.
Tools Needed
You will need the following tools and materials to remove and install the MLB, its
major cards, and components.

Phillips screwdriver (size #1)

Card extractor

Needle nose pliers

Wrist strap
4
Antistatic surface
Preparing Your System
1. Shut down and power off your system.
2. Remove all cables except the power cord from the back of the system. Make
sure that the power cord is still connected from the system unit to the wall
socket.
